Betty Lane (1907-1996)

Bob Peak (1927-1992)
Some consider him the father of the modern movie poster, others call him the king of illustrators. One of America's most prolific and respected illustrators and painters, Peak's credits spread the gamut from fashion to sports, from postage stamps to fine art and through some of the most notable movie posters to have ever existed. Starting with West Side Story an ending with Impromptu, including: Apocalypse Now, Camelot, Excalibur, My Fair Lady, Silverado, Superman and the first five Star Trek films. The artwork of Bob Peak has graced many, Time, TV Guide and Sports Illustrated magazine covers. He has also been selected, along with Norman Rockwell and NC Wyeth, to become a member of the prestigious Illustrators Hall of Fame.

Bundanon Trust Collection
The Boyd’s purchased Bundanon in 1979 as a home for the family collection. The collection comprises several thousand art works, photographs, furnishings and documents and is referred to as the Bundanon Collection. A selction from the collection displayed online includes work from Merric Boyd, Emma Minni Boyd, Arthur Merric Boyd, David Boyd, Sidney Nolan and Arthur Boyd Jr. Also displayed on this site is the Boyd Family Tree. Bundanon is open to the public on the first Sunday of each month from 10am to 4pm. Visits include tours of the Bundanon homestead and Arthur Boyd's studio, live music, bush walks and river cruises. From March 2001, Bundanon will be open every Sunday.
